Day 9

116 km, Rold Skov-Århus

After a nice breakfast, feeding the deers and adjusting Isak's cycling shoes, we were ready for today's trip.

Did I say before that Denmark is flat? We'll, it certainly doesn't have big mountains but there are nice steep hills here and there, which suck out the energy from the legs.

At 20 K we had our first ice cream break, then at 40 K we ate a late lunch  (where an ugly snail walked into Orsi's helmet..)

We reached Randers at 56 km, where we went from sport shop to sport shop to find triathlon handlebars for Isak. He mounted the handlebars on the bike at Burger King, then we continued to cycle towards Århus. Isak is really happy with the new addition on the bike, and the ulnar damage on the right hand is getting slowly better.

Århus is a beautiful city, which looks like a combination of Budapest and Balaton, with busy streets in the downtown and nice sea view at the coast. :-)

Before arriving to Blommehaven Camping, our final destination for today, Orsi's neck started to hurt,  although she tried to hold a nice posture on the bike during the whole day... Oh well, it must be better sooner or later!
We raised the tent just after sunset, and now we are looking forward a good night's sleep. :-)
